You’ve all been hanging out for one of our videos and we are slowly making a stockpile of them to bring out when the urge comes upon us. We are so lucky to have my gorgeous Scent Mother, Emma (who guest blogs here on APJ as EmmaKate) with me for this one. Well,isn’t Emma – Kate the cutie? I got a sample of Carnal Flower…3 mls,and I’m guarding it as if it were a bar of gold….sexy and big bold Tuberose….Thanks sweet,P that Therese might be worth checking out too.

I love Carnal Flower’s composition but hate to wear it. Enjoy it though, it is a magnificent scent.

It is a truly unique frgrance. Most vetivers are very fresh where this one is a bit gritty. Like a sexy man.

As a tuberose hater I can only appreciate Carnal Flower from afar. Le Parfum De Therese… I loved the story behind it so much that I wanted to like it. So far it’s not “me”. But I’ll keep trying – tastes change. I don’t think I’ve ever tried Vetiver. I have to rectify that soon.

Excellent! Love to hear more about what you thought of the Le Parfum de Therese as it dried down. Since Roudnitska is the creator of three of my faves — Diorissimo, Eau Sauvage and the wonderful Diorella — I really should give the Therese a try. Seems to be one of those love it or hate it scents (perhaps the melon?).

Eau Savage is amzing. It is my dads scent and always makes me think of good things.

Hurrah for videos! I was surprised to hear Carnal Flower has the highest concentration of tuberose – even beating out Fracas. That’s pretty amazing.
