Armani Privé Ambre Orient: LIVE Video Sniff

Hey All,

Margeaux and I are in the studio again and the usual silliness ensues. It’s great to have him give his views and as always we really enjoy ourselves.

I hope you enjoy it too,

Portia xx

As always, I love these live video sniffs! This is one of my favorites of the Armani Prive line. As you say, it is pretty linear but, such a gorgeous amber / vanilla that you want to keep smelling it all day as is.
One important point is that this is being discontinued (sadly!) and is already not available at the multiple stores that sell the line over here in Dubai. Not saying it isn’t around somewhere but, if you do happen upon it I would snatch it up. The new Myrrh Imperial (?) is replacing it.
And yes, they are really gorgeous bottles!

Thank you Portia and Margeaux for your entertaining video. Due to the featured notes and both of you awarding “Ambre Orient” five sniffs, I have placed it on my soon-to-sample list.

I will be going to the STC website to put this ‘adult vanillic amber’ on my wish list. I so enjoy the live video reviews. When this showed up in my inbox I think I squealed like a kid!! Thanks to you both!!!

Loved this video sniff and love, love, love the AP Ambre Orient! It’s long been one of my favorites in the line. I am very sad that it’s being discontinued, although I have found Christian Dior’s Mitzah to be quite similar, if you get a chance to try that one (but now that I think about it, it’s discontinued too — boo, hiss!).
