So happy for you, Tracy! Portia, I could never have entered this contest because it would involve revealing approximately how many samples I really have. Even a low guesstimate is pretty frightening.

    • Azar says:

      Hi FeralJasmine!
It is frightening. What is worse is when I open one of the boxes of totally disorganized samples and smell something wonderful and have no idea if it is one perfume or a combination of several or everything in that box! No way to recreate that or buy it or even sample it!

I think I have about 150 sample in boxes and in cabinets around the house. As far as organization concerned , it doesn’t exist it’s a complete disaster area. I need to get more organized. Lol

I follow APJ by email I don’t know if I’ll too late but anyway that’s my story.

    • Azar says:

      Hi Ferris!
Sorry, just a day late but I can totally relate to your story! You might want to check the comments in the post. There are some really good suggestions on how to organize masses of samples. Other APJs have managed to do it. Maybe we can too! That being said I find that I am strangely attached to the chaos of it all. When I find something I like in the mess of samples it feels so fated and serendipitous, like exploration and discovery. I’m afraid a real system of organization would spoil my fun!

Gomez has got to be the happiest pionus I’ve ever seen. He’s precious.

  4. Lauren says:

Gomez is the cutest. I feel like the last couple times I visited he wasn’t nearly as loud as he was when you first got him!

    • Azar says:

Maybe Gomez has come to realize that he gets more attention from me when he is quiet! But really, I don’t know if I am modifying his behaviour or he is modifying mine! Oh dear!

  5. Tracy says:

Thanks FeralJasmine! Ahhhhh I never win anything! 🙂
