What a mouthwatering collection…well done you!
My recent purchases are limited to one discovery set, but wishlist has not diminished.
    Soooon.

  4. Musette says:

    OMG!

The only thing I bought was a perfect Bel Respiro (the perfect batch, not too musky on the drydown) from RK.

    You are CARAAAAZAY! xoxoxoA

    • australianperfumejunkies says:

      Hey Musette,
Bel Respiro in EdT or EdP? It’s a CHANEL right? The lavender one?

Wow! What a haul! You are a lucky cuss!

    • australianperfumejunkies says:

      Hi there ClaudiaS,
Yes, extremely fortunate. I wish you could come over & smell them all.

I can hardly breathe after I’ve seen this beautiful collection. oh, I’d love to try it all out! Had to calm down first before I could write something…
I got my bottle of Tiempe Passate which I ordered online and that was all for March. I was a good girl because I have many plans and they all ask for some money.

    • australianperfumejunkies says:

      Hi Neva,
If only you lived closer or came to visit. we could sniff all afternoon.

On my to buy list is the Parfum D’Empire Tabac Tabou. I had no idea that the box was so striking. It may have been missed on the labeling of the pictures, but it is a not to be missed green fragrance!

    • australianperfumejunkies says:

      Hi there Nancysg,
Thanks for pointing that out. I missed it, fixed now.
Yes, I was less impressed with the original version of Tabac Tabou but the 2016 version is ridiculously beautiful on me. Who can resist?

  8. Rachael says:

Oh so envious! To be able to buy what you want instead of looking for decants and TKMaxx bargains!

    • australianperfumejunkies says:

      Hey Rachael,
Yeah, it’s a very nice position to be in. I know how lucky I am.
There are a gazillion decants here and I also troll the bargain stores for a good deal. That has its own kind of fun too.

  9. Sandra says:

Great haul Portia! It must be so much fun going through everything and trying them. I bought NVC Rahele back in January – nothing else. Wishing you a great weekend. Sandra xoxo

This is like an alternative AA program which encourages you to fall deeper….I was extremely naughty at Sutrender to Chance where I spent several bottlesworths of perfumes. Twice. They were having a sale. Then that wasn’t enough, and, having immediately fallen in love with a sample of Amouage Bracken Woman, I went FB on it. And then I bought AG Sables. Rounding out the insanity was a very reasonable purchase of Mandy Aftelier’s body oil, incense (lots of bang for buck and great base for similar perfumes–seen here first, coveted, purchased, and loved). I’m off to look and smell my new pretties and wallow in my illness.

      Hey Shiva-woman,
Sables is my next buy. What a fragrance. I can’t wear it around Jin thought because he mocks me saying I smell like a Chinese medicine store.

  11. Houndy says:

Good Lord Girl. That haul is crazy!!! Don’t you just love the Kiki extrait. One of my very special perfumes in my collection. Love it. And even better since it was a present from my honey 🙂

      Heya Steve,
Yes, I know. Disgusting but I love them ALLLLLL.

Kiki! Extrait. Bloody hell. It’s the most glorious monster. Vero is amazing.

  12. rickyrebarco says:

Wow, those are some beauties! I bought a few things, Xerjoff’s Lira, Ex Nihilo’s Devil Tender, Guerlain Idylle Jasmin et Lilas, I love lilac! and earlier in 2017 Ex Nihilo’s Sweet Morphine.

  13. Maya says:

Incredible! And enjoy! I have been having some great months with perfumes lately and love every minute of it. I finally got around to trying Annick Goutal and have a bunch of new AG samples coming. In March, I got AG Songes in the pretty moon bottle. I wear it all the time now. It has plumeria (frangipani) which is my favorite white flower. With luck, I’ll fall in love with another AG fragrance and get one of their lovely butterfly bottles.

    • australianperfumejunkies says:

      Hi there Maya,
Aren’t this Moon and Butterfly bottles beautiful? I love the Annick Goutal range and Songes is a superstar among them.

  14. Nemo says:

Oooh Geranium Bourbon is so wonderful! Which Guerlains, Hermes, and Le Galion perfumes did you get in the travel sets? What an economical way to get so many perfumes 🙂

    • australianperfumejunkies says:

      Hey Nemo,
The Guerlains are the Colognes 15ml: Coq, Imperial, Perfumer and Eau
Hermes also Colognes 15ml: Rhubarb, Mandarin, Neroli, Pamplemousse rose, orange vert, Narciss, Gentian
Le Galion 10ml: Eau Noble, 222, Sortilege, Tubereuse, La Rose, Iris, Snob, Whip, Special For Gentlemen + a lovely magnetised black bakelite travel holder that you can swap them out of.
They are all really glam. Can’t wait to put them in my travel pack.

That is a high quality haul, Portia. No regrets.
However if you’d prefer to run a giveaway for the bottle I passed on to you, do feel free.

What a lovely collection of fragrances. Equistrius is one of my favorites! And you got it in the original bottle, too! I’ve given up on trying to buy used fragrances. Been burned too many times buying on-line.
Took a look at my collection and have decided I’ll never use it all before I die, so it’s time to sell some that sit neglected.
I look forward to your reviews. Enjoy your fragrances in good health.

    • australianperfumejunkies says:

      Hey Tatiana,
I was lucky on this trip. A perfumista friend was doing exactly that, seeking some of her unworn beauties for excellent prices. I scooped up some old faves and hopefully some new ones.
      Portia xx

    • cookie queen says:

I have a bottle of Equistrius, but sadly not the original! I would like to grab that at some point if I get the chance. xx

  17. Ingrid says:

Great haul! No problems at the airport?

    • australianperfumejunkies says:

      Hi Ingrid,
Jin and I split them in our checked baggage.
We did have a little excitement leaving the UK because my see through bag was not regulation and I had to beg the Korean Air people to let me late check my small extra bag of under 100ml fragrances. Pretty annoying but I get that they need to be safe.
      Portia xx

  18. cookie queen says:

Ramen noodles? I am in tears.

    • australianperfumejunkies says:

Ha Ha Ha Val. Actually we eat them quite a lot around here because Jin makes them an event. He’s such a good cook they taste gourmet.

  19. Esperanza says:

Fabulous! Love to see what you bought. Do you like Umbra? I bought a set of Hermes Colognes, inspired by your set 😊Happy Easter! XxxEsperanza

      Hey Esperanza,
Yeah, Umbra is very nice. I have a sneaking suspicion it will end up in Jin’s collection though.
YAY!! How cool is the Hermès Cologne Collection? I hope you get loads of fun from them.

Palissander D’ Or was my first purchase from ADV few months ago and I recently got Copal Azur but I still like Palissander D’Or more.

  21. Greg says:

Wow! What a haul you have there Portia. The Detaille and the Palissandre d’or look really interesting.

    • australianperfumejunkies says:

      Hey Greg,
Yes, they’re very nice. The Detail is no ground breaker but it is a very beautiful version of the woodsy oud genre.

  22. BBMc says:

What a haul, Portia. I recently got a bottle of Voile d’Ambre and it was quite good. Couldnt find the Rose Oud anywhere though. Have not been too indulgent recently but I’m getting some Sultan Pasha Attars for our 10th wedding anniversary.
