Recently I was lucky enough to get in on a very early distribution of a few of the newest DIOR La Collection Privée releases. As I got 5ml of each I thought it might be nice to share.

  3. Via facebook and mail. Dior Eau Noire, It is a very distinctive smell unlike any other perfume I know. I do like the immortelle/licorice note.

  4. I love love love I Love Dior.

    Now. It’s not the most interesting, nor is it the most exciting Dior fragrance in my collection BUT it just screams what I feel everyday. I was very lucky to have the chance to purchase it from my lovely friend Monsie who shares a love for fragrance as I do. Whenever I smell it, I think of her and how we shall eventually meet. If I had to choose a wedding day scent, it would be this. If I had to choose a scent that I want to lie in my hospital bed, if it would be this. If I had to choose the perfect spring time scent, it would 100% be this.

    It screams what I loved in my youth, it screams me and it screams a great time for Dior with its fruity audacity. Its so like Diorissimo to me, which I also love to bits. I just love it so so much

  6. A toughie. Miss Dior (vintage) in all her chypre elegance? Or Diorissimo, which was Mum’s ‘special occasion’ scent ? I would have to nominate Diorella as my Dior true love. Its refined citrus was rumoured (so I understand) to be based on Eau Sauvage. Now *that* frag still snaps me to attention when it wafts by. I think citrus groves are in my DNA. Diorella was my fragrance choice for my 198- wedding: ivory lace tea gown, blue-black spiked punk hair and Dior. I follow APJ via email.

  9. I haven’t really found a current Dior that I like. I wore Poison back in the day before it was reformulated. Perhaps one of the new ones will change my mind about their lineup. 🙂 Thanks for the opportunity. I follow via email.

    My favourite Dior is Cuir Cannage – leather jackets, smoke,and rumpled sheets.
    Mitzah is a close second. I was lucky enough to obtain full bottles of each.

  11. I only have Idylle which I love. But I also loved Champs Elysee so one day I will buy that.

  12. My favourite Dior is Dune. It reminds me of camping on beaches in remote places with a warm salty breeze and distant campfire. It is my comfort scent.

  14. My favourite would have to be Diorella (vintage), because it is so classy, full of light AND creamy. A close second is Ambre Nuit, delicious in winter.

    My favourite Dior is probably Vetiver. I only have a decant for now but if I can get more, I will. of all Diors that I have, its the most wearable, regardless of occasion, temperature or wear. Its great to have a fragrance that is so versatile, not too complex or heavy and still smells like real quality.

  20. My favorite Dior of all time is Dolce Vita! Spicy fruit loveliness, brings back memories of the women I adored growing up. And honestly, the new Poison Girl is nice, I would wear even though I have never been a Poison fan. For men, I like Sauvage. I follow on FB as well as via email.

My absolute favorite Dior is Bois d’Argent as it is a silky chiffon wrap in the summer which shifts to a lovely cashmere shawl in the winter. I find it difficult to find a perfume which fits all seasons and this one does. Maybe one pf the new ones too? Sandra xoxo

    My favourite Dior is Tendre Poison. It is what sent me down the rabbit hole; first trying to confirm that it was discontinued, then trying to find a replacement (as if!) and now sampling all kinds of different fragrances, meeting wonderful people and establishing a collection.
    In my very limited fragrance vocabulary, Tendre Poison is a ‘warm green’ of depth and complexity. It makes me inhale deeply, swoon and smile. I love it passionately and I hoard it like a dragon.

  26. My favorite Dior is vintage Miss Dior. It was the first perfume I ever had and loved, back in the 1960s. It is a timeless beauty.

  27. I love Ambre Nuit, but so far I have only had multiple samples. Most worn is Escale à Pondichery (on my second bottle). It is perfect for warm days and a few sprays of this will keep me scented util lunchtime without disturbing anyone in the office. I follow by email.

  28. I like so many Diors but can’t say there is no one that i truly love. At the moment I am wearing pure poison a lot – it is a lovely floral that isn’t too heavy.

  29. My favourite Dior from the Collection Privée is Cuir Cannage, it’s elegant and makes me feel composed and calm at the same time as being utterly cozy and comfy. I admit I’m a nut for leather scents.

  37. My signature scent is not even really a scent – but it has the most realistic freesia note I’ve ever found. It’s Dior Eau de Svelte and I’ve been wearing it for so many years that people who know me know it’s mine. It’s hard to find so I have a supply of backups…I just hope I don’t outlast them!   39. My favourites (because I can’t choose just one) are vintage Miss Dior and vintage Diorissimo. I also love Dolce Vita, as it was one of my first ‘grown up’ frags. It makes me smile every time I smell it 🙂
