  1. I absolutely adore vintage Magie Noire. Just tried Coco Noir and can’t quite tell it apart from Coco Mademoiselle. So very lame.

  5. Black…I am not sure what this might smell like. But I have a perfume called Hokkabaz, which has embalming accord in it, smells noir to me and I love it!
    I ordered the sample set from Pure Distance and would love to try their Black.

  6. My favourite “black” is Tom Ford’s Noir de Noir. It’s a monster, earthy rose that was one of my three favourite evening-out scents last winter. It convinced me that I actually like rose and that it doesn’t have to be a girly floral.

  9. I follow via email, and have liked Orris Noir, quite a few from By Kilian’s L’Oeuvre Noire, and Angelique Noire by Guerlain. Also looking forward to testing Reglisse Noire by 1000 Flowers.

  11. I follow by email, and most people who know me realize I’m completely obsessed by 1000 Flowers Reglisse Noir, but I wear Tom Ford’s Black violet, Accord Parfait’s Chypre The Noir & Bergamote and the in your face scent of Lolita Lempika’s
    Illusions Noirs Si Lolita Eau de Minuit Lolita Lempicka for women. Hmmm, I could go on and on, my black side is awake this morning! Thanks for the chance to try another.

  12. I have read all of the various reviews of this new perfume. I would love to enter to try this. I follow you by email. The only ‘black’ perfume I have is the one by Comme des Garçons. It is a super smokey sweet bar b que scent.

  13. I follow APJ via email. Funny, the “noir” fragrances I’ve tested really don’t seem dark to me. However, at Sniffapalooza I tried the new Valentino fragrance, Valentina, which comes in a black bottle and deserves the modifier “noir”! It has oud and spices, and I loved it.

  15. Tom Ford Black Orchid, I do like the Black Fluid from Lady Gaga’s Fame and the juice is nice and Versace’s Crystal Noir.

    I love deep, dark fragrances starting with Comme des Garcons Black, also Bvlgari Jasmin Noir, Jasmin Noir L’Essence and Mon Jasmin Noir. Then there is Coco Noir, Tom Ford Black Orchid and Black Orchid Voile de Fleur, Serge Luten’s Une Voix Noire and Datura Noir….

    Killians Back to Black is about the only fragrance that has black or Noir in its name that I wear or even like. And it doesn’t strike me as being dark at all. Guess I am more a light person.
