Hey There APJ!

I have a bunch of samples that I have tried, written about and loved or not. They are lying around in my office and will probably never be looked for again. A couple of them are only half full but others are only 2 spritzes used or brand new, some I have bottles or doubles of. So what better way to share the love than a FABULOUS GIVEAWAY!!

    ONE perfume on my wish list? Only one???? How to decide? That’s why my wish list gets longer because I have too many that I want to sample. Hmmm, I think one of them is Tauer’s Fruitchouli. But, there are many much more expensive houses that I have never sniffed, such as Bond, Creed, Regina Harris, Le Labo, Cardinal, Comme des Garcons, Carthusia, The Vagabond Prince, Papillon, Oriza, Diptyque, Floris, Phaedon, Nasomatto, Parfums de Marly and Xerjoff. I will not live long enough!

  10. I follow via e-mail. The perfume still firmly on top of my wishlist is Chanel no. 19 in pure perfume.But I want to buy it myself, so it will not be mine anytime soon! Health issues prevent travel for some months.

    However,I expect to buy a used bottle of Ostara soon. It is a good one too!

I am crazy about lilies of the valley and am in the midst of a daily post-fest called May Muguet Marathon, so on my semi-realistic wishlist right now, which I will review this month, is the new Hermes Muguet Porcelaine by Jean-Claude Ellena. My “dream on” wishlist perfume is the new Guerlain Muguet 2016, the new formula by Thierry Wasser, which I’ve tried at Neiman Marcus and will also review this month, thanks to a sample from a kind SA there.

    • I bought a vintage mini. I love Guerlain. I don’t know if mine had gone off, but I HATED it. To me it smelled a little floral but mostly woody with a little plum and whisp of rose in the dry down.

  39. Whoo Hoooo! There is quite a variety in that lot!! One scent which really piqued my interest is the Mark Buxton wood and absinth. Did you not like it.. or you acquired a bottle?
