We have a MASSIVE Teone Reinthall Perfumes GIVEAWAY today. I think this is the most lavish giveaway we’ve ever hosted here on APJ. Teone Reinthall has given me seven 10ml Travel Sprays to giveaway, furthermore each is valued between $50 – $70. Amazing! Teone does Natural perfume, they are rather beautiful, luminous and multi faceted works that will change the way you think about naturals.

Ambrosia:

Ambrosia features cold-pressed Mandarin, Yuzu, Immortelle, Frangipani, Jasmine Grandiflorum, Violet Leaf, Hyacinth, Orange Blossom, Turkish Rose, Venezuelan Tonka beans, Amber and Spice accord. Here is a perfume for Learjet hippies (although these days it’s probably the optimum bliss sillage for lounging around in unbleached hemp whilst zooming about on a Cessna Citation X). The Tesla patiently awaits on the tarmac. (…sigh)

Chopin:

My new floral chypre fragrance, Chopin, features bergamot, jasmine Grandiflorum, iris, Venezuelan tonka bean, conifers accord, chypre accord and Mysore sandalwood. Here is where naturals shine like no other. All the gorgeousness of vintage chypre emerges without all the soap bubbles. The dry-down is stunning; the long-awaited fine feature that places natural floral chypres front and centre within modernity. Superbly real ingredients and timeless elegance all in one flacon.

Lemongrass Cologne:

Lemongrass cologne is a bracing, fresh aromatic cologne featuring Lemongrass, Cinnamon Leaf, Cardamon, Peru Balsam, Patchouli and Vetiver. One of my favourite aromatic combinations is the balanced blend of Sumatran patchouli and lemongrass. I adore the fairly dry, pungent smell of sea-grass matting, steamed rice and incense drifting on the heavy humid airs of South East Asia.

Light:

Light is a fragrance especially designed for traversing life’s dark tunnels, it brings a deeply peaceful sense of calm during difficult times of stress and worry. Featuring White Lotus, Jasmine Grandiflorum, Frangipani and Sandalwood, this perfume is never loud or demanding, it shimmers with an irresistible beauty that is delicate, pristine, …pure.

Mary Jane:

Mary Jane is a cool, green floral featuring Neroli, Genet absolute, Jasmine Grandiflorum, Honeysuckle, Ruh Khus, Galbanum, Orris root and Mysore Sandalwood. The fragrance is a study of the tension between sweetness and earthiness, between fragility and strength, and is utterly beautiful. Mary Jane was inspired by one of my all-time favourite fragrances; Chanel 19.

Rococo:

Rococo is elaborate and luscious – a hugely radiant, sexy floral for those that know how to make an entrance…. and leave behind a softly trailing scent that evokes passion and intrigue. Rococo is the signature scent for those who adore making bold fashion statements featuring the seduction of Tuberose & Gardenia with the earthiness of hand-tinctured Vanilla Planifolia.

Rosalie:

Rosalie eau de parfum is a vintage-styled rose chypre starring Tea Rose absolute and Rose de Mai. The heart chord is a corps de balletof florals including iris, jasmine grandiflorum, ylang ylang, mimosa and hand-tinctured vanilla beans. The base is an orchestra of vetiver, oakmoss, labdanum and patchouli.

    I cant believe no one has mentioned Violet Firefly yet! Its one of my favourites. So effervescent and shimmering. Of course the ingredient would be Violet Leaf Absolute – magnificent stuff.

  54. Thank you for introducing me to a fab Australian perfumista – Teone Reinthal. I poured over her creations on her website.
    My chosen note is : Labdanum from the artisan range – Batavia.

    Why ?
    Still a novice with perfume notes i googled the word to get a sense of its scent and read in one bio : Pine like opening, which transitions into a warm, kind of leathery scent with hints of pepper, tar, coffee, light tobacco.. etc, while not really smelling just like any one of them. It also has a tiny hint of an animalic side to it.
