Hello Fellow Fumies,
At APJ we have a Saturday Question. Everyone gets to chime in with an answer, chat with other responders and it’s a fun event each week. Taking sides never means taking offence and everyone keeps it respectful and light, even though we can sometimes trawl the depths.
The idea is you’ll see it on the weekend or chime in through the week. Hopefully you will come back regularly and see if anyone has responded to your comment and you can reply to them. The aim is to generate real conversation and connection even though we are scattered around the globe.
Over 100 responses I will draw a Secret Scent Sample Pack (from my collection)
Last Weeks Winner: Jyotsna

Saturday Question: What Are Your Current TOP 5?
All over the FaceBook pages people are taking photos of their TOP 10 frags. It’s so fun and interesting to see what everyone else is loving right now. We all have such diverse tastes and our favourites might not even be the ones we wear the most, they could be a set that makes our heart start every time we think about them.
So I’m going to go with my TOP 5 of Mind. Right now there are a few scents that I think about a lot, even when I’m not wearing them. About how much I love them and how happy I am to own a bottle. Sure, they do get quite a bit of wear but I also like to mix things up or I get bored.
So this is a current list and will probably change next week, or tomorrow.
My Answer:
La Colle Noire by DIOR, 1845 by Mt Romance, Queen by Queen Latifah, Slowdive by Hiram Green, Indian Study/Santal ++++ by Miller et Bertaux
These are what’s on my skin and floating around my mind currently. Can’t wait to read yours.
Very difficult question!
1. Chanel 28 La Pausa, EdT
2. Masque Milano L’Attesa
3. Guerlain Encense Mythique D’Orient
4. Donna Karan Black Cashmere
5. L’Artisan Un Air de Bretagne

This is an impossible question to answer. My all time top five aren’t ever going to change, so I think I’ll put in my top five recently tried or purchased, just because they’re fresh in my mind.
1. Calèche Soie de Parfum. Amazing stuff. How didn’t I ever try this one before now?
2. Papillon Rouge Bengale.
3. Mugler Alien Essence Absolue.
4. Francesca Bianchi Sex and the Sea.
5. Heeley Cocobello.
And just like others have said, next week might be different answers😉
And congratulations Jyotsna PPP winner this week. Wohoo, enjoy.

I never liked licorice as a note. I bought my first bottle during a fundraising event to keep Jessica’s company afloat. As soon as I sniffed it I bought five more minis and thunked them all in less than a year. Now I have the vintage mini from Portia, the regular size vintage splash from AnnieA and the current formulation spray from one of the Marzipans from last year’s birthday present to me. I think I am in good shape 😉

Most worn and beloved of the past few months. It’s been hot and I’ve had an almost constantly tempestuous stomach, which requires care with perfume!
1. Dryad (Bengale Rouge is amazing, but I don’t think anything will displace Dryad as my favorite Papillon)
2. Iris Silver Mist worn with Paris-Venise (thanks to Val from whom I first heard the idea!)
3. Anatole Lebreton Eau de Merzhin
4. 19-69 Capri Not earth shattering but amazing for summer
5. Chypre Azural (oh I forgot I’ve been testing this entire impossible to spell line and love many of them)

Hello, and happy weekend to all of you good smelling people.
My current top five looks like this:
1. Myrrhe Ardent from Annick Goutal
2. Mon parfum cherie by Annick Goutal
3. Dior’s Mitzah
4. Chanel Eau de Cologne
5. Chanel Coromandel in EDT.
i like the Myrrhe scent, and eau de cologne, on days when I’m teaching or doing yoga-they seem to stay close to the skin, so I hope i smell well groomed, and not overpowering. The amber based perfumes smell so good in the transition to fall. The Mon Perfume Cheri-I thought it was going to be a big huge scent, and it has presence when it’s first applied. But it stay quite close to the skin, and I like it a lot.
Sincerely,
Carole
