To Russia With Love: Courtney Act: 2014

Heya All,

This is one of my mates, Courtney. She is currently starring on RuPaul’s Drag Race and here is her latest single’s video clip. The song is her best so far and I have had it on repeat since returning back from overseas. It’s also a big fat finger to Russia’s Vladamir Putin who seems to think it’s one rule for him and another for his people.

Today is Mardi Gras in Sydney, our biggest celebration of the year. Though we are not equal in the eyes of the law we hope it may come soon.

You can follow Courtney Act on FaceBook to see some of her crazy adventures.

yes, Portia darling, you DO have to explain this kind of thing to your typical ‘Merican.

pish, posh. i’m… um… a citizen of the planet. *ahem*

you know, your eyelash glue will harden like that if you keep squinting.

  2. She’s very good. As to Putin, he’s a weak, little man who was given power. Never a good thing. Hope you enjoyed Mardi Gras.

    • Thanks Maya,
Weak little men who rise to power are hard to deal with, they know weakness and can use yours as currency. It makes them formidable.

  3. Happy Mardi Gras! I grew up in Louisiana and always thought of it as one of the most exciting times of the year, had no idea it was making a splash over in Oz. As we used to say to each other there, Mardi Gras isn’t a day, it’s a state of mind. Enjoy the hell out of it

    • You have it bang to rights FeralJasmine.
Our Mardi Gras is a celebration of gaylife and a political protest because we are the last people not viewed as equals under the law.
