I LOVE the new La Petite Robe Noire movie. In honour of my being in David Jones Guerlain yesterday and how helpful the SA Penny was. She knew her stuff and was so helpful and friendlly, even inviting us to come back and chat whenever we were in town. Jin spritzed Habit Rouge which sang beautiful powdery spice on his skin for hours and I went all out for L’Heure Blue parfum. OMG! I am in love.

Aren’t the wonderful people at Guerlain counters always just the most helpful and knowledgeable?
I am so glad you have found your way to Habit Rouge – I feel a woman could wear this beautifully – “l’Eau” version is also most definitely worth a spritz.
As for l’Heure Bleue, as we seem to be in perpetual dusk her in The North, it seems perhaps a fitting fragrance for the season.

It was a wonderful afternoon. we had done a bunch of boring stuff and wanted to treat ourselves, well me mainly, so I begged for a train ride, the Guerlain counter and the brand new DIOR store. Jin being a superstar gave me all 3.
Habit Rouge doesn’t smell anywhere near as great on me, he will be getting a bottle for my pleasure soon.
As for L’Heure Blue. 100 years old and still incredible.

That is the best La Petite Robe Noir film yet! I loved it. And yes the Dandy is right, every counter persons at Guerlain are très charmant and most knowledgeable.

I think you may be correct, they do seem to be well schooled in the Gurlain manifesto. I will be back and shopping with Miss Penny very soon.
