Hey there Crew,
I have a bunch a samples & decants that sit here tested but now in the discard pile. There are many reasons for being there. Maybe I bought a FB, it had an issue that renders it unwearable, I hated it, I liked it but have something similar, I LOVED it and completely forgot about it, I’ve moved on. So many reasons, so MANY samples. They are all used a bit but they have heaps for testing and trying, all are at least 2ml and most are spritz. I know you’re going to love at least something in this pack.
Most of these samples have been purchased from Surrender To Chance in 2015

I cannot remember the name, but begins with a K and is spelled weird and they are way too expensive for me plus some rare guerlain and caron vintages going for big bucks on ebay like tabac blonde.

My mind is leaning towards the vintage, the impossible to find, like Djedi. But also the old/reinvented like that Le Galion I see there and Oriza Legrand, especially the Violettes des Czars. The packaging is so whimsical and lovely!

Hi, Portia — I follow by email. I’d like to get through all of Jean-Claude Ellena’s fragrances. Right now I’m lusting for Cartier Declaration because of the birch, bitter orange and cardamom notes. Plus it has juniper, and my ex is allergic to juniper . . . muah ha haaa. Thanks for making us the beneficiaries of your clearout!
Warm aloha,
Fifi

Oops, Cartier Declaration isn’t a new scent, sorry I didn’t follow directions! But Cartier XI L’Heure Perdue is new and I’d love to try that one because it relies so thoroughly on synthetics.
Apologetically,

Removing the barrier of cost I would be interested in sampling Roja Dove’s A Goodnight Kiss (I am a fan of vintage scents). And a bottle (100ml parfum) is a mere $2400 in Canadian dollars.
Among already sampled 2014 releases what I would really love (if my tiny budget magically expanded) is a full bottle of the Malle Eau de Magnolia.
Thanks for the generous draw opportunity.

A while back there was a video of a pair of perfume appreciators that collected a sample of every single perfume release of the year and then mixed a small, equal amount of each into one huge bottle. The idea being to amalgamate the scent of the year! It would probably smell shocking, but I would love to try that.
Trying to find a link to it, but not having much luck.

What a generous giveaway! I follow via e-mail. If money was no object, I think I would still want to sample something not totally unaccecible. I would love to sample Amouage Sunshine, the bottle looks so happy, and yet rather stylish. I generally like citrus based and green scents, but try to branch out and try more florals.

I remember being in Amsterdam a few years back and discovering by Killian for the first time . The store I visited was so generous with allowing me to sample an exclusive perfume that was just so out of my reach finance wise .. wish I could remember the name of it .. But by Killian would be on the top of my wishlist .. and then I would take my sweet time deciding which scent I would buy ..
I follow by Facebook and newsletter.
Thanks again APJ .. love your musings.
