Sample Pack

Hey there Crew,

I have a bunch a samples & decants that sit here tested but now in the discard pile. There are many reasons for being there. Maybe I bought a FB, it had an issue that renders it unwearable, I hated it, I liked it but have something similar, I LOVED it and completely forgot about it, I’ve moved on. So many reasons, so MANY samples. They are all used a bit but they have heaps for testing and trying, all are at least 2ml and most are spritz. I know you’re going to love at least something in this pack.

Most of these samples have been purchased from Surrender To Chance in 2015

  1. No $$$ constraints? In a heartbeat – would love to sample O’Hira, by Stéphane Humbert Lucas! I follow by e mail. What a fantastic giveaway!

  2. Email follow.

I cannot remember the name, but begins with a K and is spelled weird and they are way too expensive for me plus some rare guerlain and caron vintages going for big bucks on ebay like tabac blonde.

  3. I follow by email. I would love to sample a Roja Dove, but I’m afraid I’ll love it and can’t afford it since I’m going back to college and one of those is about the same as the cost of my books .

  4. What a privilege to help you spring clean!
My mind is leaning towards the vintage, the impossible to find, like Djedi. But also the old/reinvented like that Le Galion I see there and Oriza Legrand, especially the Violettes des Czars. The packaging is so whimsical and lovely!
    I follow by email.

  5. Hi Portia, I love receiving your emails. Without financial constraint, I would fly to Dubai for Eaudemoiselle de Givenchy Absolu d’Oranger Givenchy for women. Sounds like warm summer heaven. Thanks for the chance to win xx.

  6. Wow! This is a fantastic list of perfumes, and I haven’t tried any of them 🙂 I would love to try Misia and/or Jardin de Monsieur Li. Thank you so much! and I follow by email.

  7. I follow you be e mail, twitter and facebook. My choice would be Deneauve
Oops its too vintage, sorry then it would be Terracotta by Guerlain

  9. Oh wow…what a generous offer here….you are so nice to share wit the world these beauties!! I would would love to try Roja Dove’s A Goodnight Kiss. It’s on my wish list and would be wonderful..thank you!

  10. Awesome giveaway, count me in for sure – I follow via email. If money wasn’t a constraint I’d pick a sample of vintage Chypre by Coty, Fougere Royale by Houbigant, and….one more…a huge whopping decant of Guerlain’s Djedi!

  11. Hi, Portia — I follow by email. I’d like to get through all of Jean-Claude Ellena’s fragrances. Right now I’m lusting for Cartier Declaration because of the birch, bitter orange and cardamom notes. Plus it has juniper, and my ex is allergic to juniper . . . muah ha haaa. Thanks for making us the beneficiaries of your clearout!
    Warm aloha,

  12. Oops, Cartier Declaration isn’t a new scent, sorry I didn’t follow directions! But Cartier XI L’Heure Perdue is new and I’d love to try that one because it relies so thoroughly on synthetics.

  13. Following by email.
Removing the barrier of cost I would be interested in sampling Roja Dove’s A Goodnight Kiss (I am a fan of vintage scents). And a bottle (100ml parfum) is a mere $2400 in Canadian dollars.
Among already sampled 2014 releases what I would really love (if my tiny budget magically expanded) is a full bottle of the Malle Eau de Magnolia.
Thanks for the generous draw opportunity.

  14. Awesome.. I would love to try some of these. Thanks for always thinking of us fragrant geeks : ) I follow via newsletter / email..

    Thank you

  15. I follow through bloglovin.
I would love to try the 2014/15 release of Guerlain’s Mon Exclusif, and Hermes Gardenia.
Very generous sample pack! Thank you for the chance to win! 🙂

  16. I would try Rozy extrait by vero perfumo. I’d love to try all their perfumes. I have only tried Kiki and loved it.

    I follow via email

  17. A while back there was a video of a pair of perfume appreciators that collected a sample of every single perfume release of the year and then mixed a small, equal amount of each into one huge bottle. The idea being to amalgamate the scent of the year! It would probably smell shocking, but I would love to try that.
Trying to find a link to it, but not having much luck.
    I follow by email. 🙂

  18. the perfume I would love to try is Fath Iris Gris..i am usually lucky when it comes to vintage ones but Fath Iris Gris is proving too much of a unicorn to get hold of…i follow APJ through email. thanks for the lovely draw.

  19. What a generous giveaway! I follow via e-mail. If money was no object, I think I would still want to sample something not totally unaccecible. I would love to sample Amouage Sunshine, the bottle looks so happy, and yet rather stylish. I generally like citrus based and green scents, but try to branch out and try more florals.

  20. Great giveaway Portia and an excellent way to clear a shelf. Throwing monetary caution to the wind, I’d buy the new Ormonde Jayne Qi Intensivo Extrait de Parfum that’s just been released. It sounds divine. I follow APJ via email and also keep up on Facebook. Have a great day!

  21. I remember being in Amsterdam a few years back and discovering by Killian for the first time . The store I visited was so generous with allowing me to sample an exclusive perfume that was just so out of my reach finance wise .. wish I could remember the name of it .. But by Killian would be on the top of my wishlist .. and then I would take my sweet time deciding which scent I would buy ..

I follow by Facebook and newsletter.
Thanks again APJ .. love your musings.

  22. What a gorgeous sample pack – thanks for the chance, Portia!
And I am starting the list…Atelier Cologne’s Rendez-Vous and Pomelo Paradis, Mona di Orio’s Myrrh Casati, Neela Vermeire’s Mohur Extrait and Pichola, Jul et Mad Nin-Shar (and the whole line, actually, because I’ve tried none), Aftelier’s Palimpsest, and…a great part of the above mentioned fragrances!!! See, it’s a ravenous hunger!
I follow by mail, Googel + and FB.

  23. Lovely giveaway! I follow APJ via email, and Facebook and FFFs…

I would love to get my hands on all the new Keiko Mecheri’s that have recently come out. They sound fantastic!! Please review one Portia! Thanks again, Moira

  24. Hi! I follow via email. AdV Oeillet Bengale would be my must-try pick from 2014. Thank you for the fun question and fun draw!

    • I follow you on, email, Twitter, and Facebook…I read the ingredients for Baccarat Les Larmes Sacrees de Thebes and I think if only….sigh….the things our dreams are made of.

  25. Commercial it may be, but unfortunately not all that affordable: I’d love to try Les Exclusifs de Chanel Misia – I’m a bit of an old granny at heart, and adore violet, iris and rose, so this sounds right up my alley! I follow by email. Thanks 🙂

  26. Ooh, Trayee by Neela Vermeire, or Mona di Orio Myrrh Casati (or Vetyver, Oud, or Vanille). Oh there are soooo many beauties out there, Portia. It’s lovely to be able to love at least some of them. I follow by email. And I think RSS.
