Monday

Morning Routine: 10 Minutes.

Went back to bed with the dogs for 15 minutes and slept like dead people.

Was going to start with the house but Jin  has planted himself on the couch and doesn’t intend to pick his shit up yet. Sometimes, even though he’s a bloody gorgeous wonder human, he can be a total shit. HA!

So I pivoted and hit the Trivia Q&A.

There was a minor interlude while I made myself hot milk Weet Bix with some Greek yoghurt and sat with Jin watching his current fave K Drama.

Got the Trivia finished, printed and sent to the Queens by 2pm.

My mate Phil dropped in. Evie’s daughter Lola had bought him some goodies in the USA! He was super chuffed.

Fed and walked the dogs. Completely forgot until now.

CHANEL Jersey

Jin and I sat around watching K Drama. We also did stuff around the house. Instead of dinner we had a lavish cheese and meats platter. It was awesome.

I hit the computer to answer blog comments and check some of my favourites. Alityke had got her hands on some Jil Sander Sun shower gel! Couldn’t help myself, it was so cheap, even after factoring in postage. Might have added a few other desirables to the cart too.

Jin went to bed.

I had a huge Bubble Bath scented with Marc Ecko UNLTD.

Gave myself a drenching in Chopard Wish. So sweet but very satisfying.

Tuesday

Oh Dear. Something we ate did not agree with us. Maybe the cabanossi was a bit nasty?  It’s been a couple of very dire rears since midnight last night. Somehow, Jin has got himself to work.

I went back to bed but had some very fast wake-ups and runs.

9am Morning Routine: 10 Minutes. Very pared back.

Sarah Jessica Parker Lovely Noir. Heavy on the sweet, very satisfying but also awful. I love it.

ALS: To the Moon and Back podcast recording.

Fed and walked the dogs in glorious sunshine. So lovely. What a perfect 22°C (72f) winters day.

Toilet

Invoicing. GAH! I’ve left it so long that I had to do two months worth.

Toilet, Like WTAF! I have to work tonight.

Watched some of The Rock Jumanji again.

Got myself ready for work. Dude mode in case of the Dire Rear attacking again.

We had Jackpot winners again this week. Only $100 after the big one went off last week.

Made it through work but had to hurry home. Last hurrah. Seems to be al clear now.

L’Artisan Glacialis Terra. Remember when L’Artisan got C&D letters from Guerlain about the bees? His drama. Glad I scored an early bottle.

Wednesday

Morning Routine: 10 Minutes.

This morning was totally wasted. Happily, blissfully wasted.

Walking the dogs was cloudy and cool. Caught this plane flying nearby. It looked so good.

Got myself gussied up and went to lunch with Donna. We hit the Summer Hill Hotel, next door to where she works. Lunchtime Special Steaks! So delicious and satisfying. Conversation was even better.

Jin got home at 8.30pm, we went and got Chinese Take Away and watched the very depressing second half of the football together. It was a complete disaster for our team. Obviously we are the BLUES!

Started writing a piece for a new, upcoming magazine that will launch later this year. 3,000 words! I’m just starting the write, got nearly 900 done tonight.

Thursday

Morning Routine: 10 Minutes.

Got everything together for tonights gig. Did a special 30 question set, the answer sheets and made a new pink feathered adornment for my headgear.

Etat Libre d’Orange Spice Must Flow. Inspired by Aiden on his FaceBook SOTD post.

Did a corporate gig tonight for PRiDE month at a money management firm. It was bloody fantastic. The group was fun, into it and happy to be a bit silly. Not gonna lie, I looked so hot.

Home. Had Chinese reheats with Jin on the couch, watching crap TV. It was nice. He went to bed.

Dogs fed and walked.

Friday

Morning Routine: 10 Minutes.

Up bright and early. Had to do some grocery shopping. Got the house into near clean order.

Tiny little swipe of Parfums Gres Cabochard vintage extrait.

Penny came over and helped me get a bunch of Celebrant stuff organised. It was a fun day and with her by my side we got so much work done. It never would have even been started without her. If you need a celebrant for Naming, Birthday, Bridal Shower, Hen’s or Buck’s Nights, Weddings, Wedding Receptions, Divorces, Funeral or Memorial I’ve been trained and certified in all of them. Not to mention also a shit hot Trivia host/ess.

Went grocery shopping again with Jin in the evening. There was something just a bit off about him. Couldn’t pinpoint it. I did ask him a couple of times if he was OK. No real answer.

We watched some footy, had some dinner.

One wrong word and look and Jin exploded. GAH! I knew there was something wrong. We have had less than ten angry shouting matches in over 15 years together. This was an epic blow up and I was surprised. It always takes me completely by surprise because Jin is always so genial. Anyway, he shouted and ranted for about 20 minutes, went to his bedroom and slammed the door. Maybe ten minutes later he was back out, we hugged, had a chat, hugged again. He went off to bed. The storm had calmed, seas returned to stillness and the cry of birds was once again heard.

Made myself a cuppa and hit the computer to update my day.

Fed and walked the dogs in the crisp night air.  16°C (60f) at 10pm, really nice but a cool breeze. Walking around in flip flops.

Saturday

Woke of my own accord about ten minutes before the alarm. Lovely. Rolled over and slept for ten more minutes.

Morning Routine: 10 Minutes.

Boss Orange for Men by Hugo Boss

Bit of cleaning, bit of computer stuff. A little bit of blogging.

Fed and walked dogs.

BFF Kath came over for lunch. I made Muffins, Bacon and Eggs. Super easy, and delicious.

Jin went out for golf, I think.

More cleaning and a cuddle with the dogs.

We did about an hour of meal prep for tonight’s dinner. Actually, Jin did another nearly hour more than me because he wanted to try some new things.

Michael, Hyun and Scotty came over. It was a Korean BarBQ feast with maybe 15 side dishes and loads of meat. We all had a drink and a laugh. It was Hyun’s birthday recently so we had a big cake and dessert wine. Then we had cups of tea and chattered till around 10pm when we kicked everyone out. It was a lovely, chill, delicious evening.

Jin made a new friend in Hyun and Michael’s newish rescue Pug: Pancake. It was such a good night.

Jin hit the sack. I did three runs of the dishwasher and the place was cleaned up and ready for tomorrow.

154 Cologne by Jo Malone. Both my fragrances today were purloined from Jin’s collection. I’m writing a series of Jin’s wardrobe posts.

Sunday

Woke early. Rolled over, slept another gorgeous 30 minutes.

Took the dogs for wees

Morning Routine: 10 Minutes.

Jin slept in so I did the basic dusting a day early. Satisfying.

When Jin got up he had plans to get his work car mini detailed and then hit the gym during the two hours that takes. I was already blogging away madly so declined the offer. The car place has changed its policy, no more mini details. So Jin went with the 30 minute wash, leaving him just enough time to brunch with no gym. Poor bugger, left his wallet in the food court and got the car. Came home to discover the wallet’s loss. ALARUMS! After going to the food court and talking to the cleaners there was no knowledge of his wallet. I got a really upset phone call. He went to the Concierge Help Desk and they sent him to level two because someone had handed his wallet in! This is a wallet with a Platinum AmEx in it, there could have been real damage in the time between him leaving the wallet, noticing the wallet missing and putting the card on hold. I got an incredibly relieved call. Poor bugger. To lose that wallet twice in one week is so unlike him. We are going to have to have a serious chat about what’s going on with him right now.

I came back, made sure I had the lunch fixings. My mate TinaG is coming. YAY!

All very low key for lunch. Omelettes and loads of my new favourite: Cardamom Tea. It was an excellent catch up. Tina arrives at midday and didn’t leave till 3pm! Time disappeared.

For work this evening I chose Parfum d’Empire Le Cri de la Lumier. Something about it is utterly gorgeous today. Breathtaking.

 

Worked tonight. We had a lovely crew. A whole slew of my favourites.

Home. A bit wrecked.

Jin is in bed. I’m up blogging.
