Hello Australian Perfume Junkies and friends, week 2 of the modern Scent Diary.
Hoping you enjoy it and will let me know what’s happening in your lives too. What I really loved about Scent Diary was the interaction with perfumistas around the world, and their interactions with each other. Scent Diary became a conversation hub and it was epic.
Jin and I have made so many friends, near and far, through perfume. So let’s reunite the old and welcome some new friends too.
Hello APJ, Welcome to our small scale collaboration project. Old Herbaceous (OH) of Serenity Now Scents and Sensibilities and I will be doing a monthly post on different perfume notes. We are not perfumers but aficionados of fragrance. So lots of our information will come with links for further reading or text references. We are learning as you are learning, or refreshing.

Hey there APJ Crew,
Even though it’s been rush, rush, rush to get things organised all week I’ve felt calm about it. Going at it at my own pace and getting things done one at a time has allowed me to focus on each thing. At times it’s felt quiet zen.
Fragrance has, as always, played a major part. There are some cool spritzes from the vault.
Saw some friends but all in all it was work, organise, sleep, repeat.

Hey there APJ Crew,
This week was kind of chill. Loads of fragrance and some good food.
We have had the most gorgeous amounts of real, driving rain. I don’t remember it being so plentiful in the five years we’ve lived in Parramatta. It’s dog walking with a golf umbrella and wellies kind of rain.

How did I even have time to breathe this week. It was CER AY ZEE! So many friends, oodles of food, Aunty tracey, Perfume, Sales, fun and games. WHOA! What a week.

This week has been infinitely quieter. Thank everything. I really needed some chill time. Still managed to get out and about, saw some buddies and spent some quality time with Jin. The good thing about having more time is wearing more fragrance. YAY! Big week of scent.

All quiet on the Jin & Portia front. Loads of work for both of us, catching up on our sleep, hanging out when we can. Some sensational perfumes on my skin this week, a wide range of styles and note lists. This is what contentment feels like.

Wonderful week of fragrance. Everything else was pretty low key. Didn’t get to pool or gym this week and ate less than perfectly. Saw some buddies, hung with Jin and did a bunch of work so my life felt happily rounded without being hectic.

This week felt quiet until I look at everything that went on. Heaps of fragrances, some friends, shopping, eating, swimming and Trivia. A little bit of Jin time and some quiet down times.
