Hey there APJ Crew,

We FINALLY have rain. It’s good in Parramatta and has helped cool the bushfires elsewhere. Sadly it’s not enough. Also the ash being washed into the rivers has polluted them to the point of unlivability for the fish and other water creatures. The stories of dead, dying and injured wildlives are horrifying. BILLIONS of our native and feral creatures have died with many localised subspecies completely wiped out. A lot of it is due to poor governance and lack of resources for proper management.

Meanwhile, as the populace has been choking under a literal smokescreen the government rushes to put in new laws enacting religious rights to discriminate and giving the Adani mine unlimited water usage for the foreseeable future.

Mood Scent 4: Festive Event Fragrances

Hey there APJ,

It’s Mood Scent 4 week. WOO HOO! Festive Event Fragrances is a ripper idea and very timely too. Already we are in full swing of Office Party, Formal and Silly Season events here in Sydney. From the kids doing their School Dances to Office Xmas Parties, Product Launches, Dinners, Get Togethers and all the madness that hits towards the end of the year. Also, there are the MANY religious observances, almost every crew has something at this time since time long forgotten.

I have tried to steer away from the tropes of the season. Though I love and will wear Nuit de Noel, Exultat, Aromatics Elixir, Sancti and Shalimar at some point during the season I thought you could all do with some different options.

Mood Scent 4: Mid Season Magic

Hey there APJ,

It’s Mood Scent 4 week. This is the first Mood Scent 4 that was my idea. It feels super special for me today. As we both got into Mid Seasons in the Northern Hemisphere and Southern I love that the temps are very similar. Fewer extremes and a much more mild adventure than the summer and winter we are both leaving behind. Mid Seasons are my favourite, so much choice for fragrance because there’s so much variation in weather.  So I’m picking five fragrances that work well for me in both Autumn and Spring.

Scent Diary: 5.8 – 11.8.2019

Hey there APJ Crew,

The kids are still with us. It’s kind of nice having them around the house. They basically take care of themselves at 16 & 20. Jin is loving being an Uncle and I quite like hearing their chatter, even though quite a lot of it is in Korean and Slovakian. If we had kids we would need more room though, not that we want kids, that’s definitely 100% off the table.

Hey there APJ,

It’s Mood Scent 4 week. Today the theme seems picked perfectly for my tastes. It’s always good for me to have a few Diva scents around as I spend so much time being one. So it was fun to think of a few of my lovelies that I wear especially for those show stopping moments when I want to smell as outrageously fabulous as I look.
