Hey Hey Perfume Junkies,

OK I’m adding a THUNKED section here too. It’s becoming an APJ obsession and I love the idea of us using our fragrances and hoiking the vial, decant or bottle. Thunk is the sound of an empty hitting the bin so you must empty it for the thunk to count.

Anything worthy of comment, either good or bad, that’s passed under my nose through the week will get a short write up. If I think something is terrible, shamefully lazy, greedy or stupid and you should know about it, it will be said. As always YMMV.

Hey there APJ Crew,

So many wonderful fragrances this week. Celebrating Guerlain Mitsouko’s 100 year anniversary. Being friends, eating wonderful food, even got a little bit of exercising in.

Honestly, the heat has me beat gang. I’m trying to stay positive and focussed but it’s been draining my will to live. It’s not that I dislike the heat per se, it robs me of my ability to think.

G’day APJ folk!

We all have those unsung hero type scents that sit mid way on the shelf, rarely used. For a myriad of reasons, the scent keeps getting over looked. I see it and think, ‘Yeah, another day perhaps; not in the mood for it now.’ I even forget why I was attracted to the scent in the first place.

This morning I picked this hero up and sprayed.

Heya Guerlain Lovers,

There’s been a lot of thunking talk around here and I have been rediscovering decants of things I bought bottles of, put away for safe keeping or just put aside and completely forgot about. Here’s a very embarrassing admission, I have an old Surrender To Chance 5ml decant of Guerlain Nuit d’Amour, the spritzer is a bit dicky so I only used it the once. Happy New Year APJ! I cannot quite believe that we are now in the year 2019. It was only yesterday that we rang in the year 2000. How time flies! Especially as I get older it seems to pass by me at lightening speed.

We had a quiet Christmas and New Year this year, which is just what the doctor ordered. Family time is cherished and we managed to spend a lot of quality time together learning new games and playing cards together. As the holidays are now over, I can sit back and reflect on what passed and what is to come.
