This Ad/Movie for YSL’s new fragrance Manifesto was released on Wednesday and the Making Of Thursday. I think the ad terrible but the Making Of is lovely and much more interesting and Jessica Chastain makes a fabulous fragrance face, so beautiful and elegant.

BoisDeJasmin says in her review: Take Thierry Mugler’s Angel and dilute it with sheer, lemony jasmine till all you have left are the pastel colored outlines of the original gourmand patchouli. Shake it up, label Yves Saint Laurent, and you have Manifesto!

i loved the finger painting in beginning…my kinder days relived lol…..the only other Manifesto fume is by Isabella Rosselini….thinking now discontinued. I don’t think I’m rushing out to try/buy anything new for a whileas This week I made my most hideoous fume mistake ever…..bought FAME

So I think FAME is a good room freshener. Put it in the bathroom on the toilet, it will get used up in no time at all.

I accidently got sprayed with Fame when a Japanese tourist shoved me out of his way to grab the sample. He proceeded to spay as if he was spaying for roaches. I was in the way and I took the bullet. OY! Peee-You what a stinker it was. So for me it is bug spray.

Those pesky over sprayers in public! Bring back the GUILLOTINE!!
I really don’t hate FAME. The room smelled lovely when 15 or 20 people were all wearing it at once.

hum…. well maybe I was really reacting to the shove he gave me to get at his Idols perfume…LOL… I will sniff it on my own when no one is at the counter… safer that way.

I’m open to anything that smells like Angel ! What a amazing fragrance. I love YSL counters , the SAs are always friendly and welcoming when u want to try / sniff ! And lots of samples to be had , wink *
I saw this trailer and it reminded me of Farrah playboy circa 1990 ! Remember ???
I think I might like a sheer lemony Angel , especially if I can find it @ a good price down the track !

I loved that Farrah ad and she looked completely wasted. Oh yes!
This one sounds like it’s headed for the discount stores soon but I am often wrong about such things.

I was having trouble finding a perfume it doesn’t contain salicylate as I have an allergy to it and most perfume has salicylate in them . I went into the shop to get my happy perfume as I don’t have an allergy to it , and the really helpful girl went out of her way to find me a few perfumes that didn’t contain salicylate in it . After sometime of smelling three different types of perfumes I kept on going back to this sent as it something about which it I liked and smells different and nice.
I’m looking forward to wearing it.
