Hello Fellow Fumies,

At APJ we have a Saturday Question. Everyone gets to chime in with an answer, chat with other responders and it’s a fun event each week. Taking sides never means taking offence and everyone keeps it respectful and light, even though we can sometimes trawl the depths.

The idea is you’ll see it on the weekend or chime in through the week. Hopefully you will come back regularly and see if anyone has responded to your comment and you can reply to them. The aim is to generate real conversation and connection even though we are scattered around the globe.

Hey there APJ Crew,

It’s official. I am now HAWAII. Yes, I’ve reached the 50th state of birthdays. What a week. Saw so many people, did wonderful things, wore ALL the perfumes and had Aunty Tracey down to stay. This week has been one of the very good ones. Almost every day looking around at the people in my life it is the happiest of surprises how wonderful they all are. Every one of them with some divine spark. It is the people around us that bless us.

I seldom binge watch anything on TV.   I don’t have the attention span, nor the time, and am pretty fussy about what I watch.  Not that I wanna appear as a snotty bitch, I am an EastEnders fan after all.  Still it is autumn and cookie season is in full swing.  I spend a lot of time in my kitchen, which makes it ideal for hammering my way through several hours of TV, as I make and weigh hundreds of dough balls.

New Sniffs: 6.9.2018

Hey Hey Australian Perfume Junkies,

I’m going to try a new Thursday thing for September.

Hoping to combat the guilt I feel when so much arrives and so little gets written about the idea of New Sniffs emerged.

The idea is that anything new that’s passed under my nose through the week will get a short write up. It must feel worthy of comment, either good or bad, and will have a YMMV caveat. Up till now I have kept APJ positive comments only, those days are gone. If I think something is terrible, shamefully lazy, greedy or stupid and you should know about it, it will be said. As you know, not everything works for everyone and it would be pretty boring if it did. I’d love it if you all agree, respectfully disagree, have any thought-out opinion and want to share, do so in the comments below. As always the point is starting a conversation with you all.

Anything that I’m not going to keep will become a GIVEAWAY. A super simple one. All comments are instantly entered. Next week I’ll tell you who random.org picked. If the winner doesn’t get in touch with me during the week it will JACKPOT to next week and that winner will get both.

Scent Diary: 6.8 – 12.8.2018

Hey there APJ Crew,

Jin and I are back living together. We had the kids by themselves, they left yesterday, and I know it’s hard to believe but I have NO COMPLAINTS! They were not perfect, who is?, but they were respectful, tidy and very low maintenance. I also like the people they are turning into. Now that their English is conversational life is much easier. My Korean is still about 20 words, so obviously I’m not helping matters.
