Hey, hey APJ! How has September been treating you all?
There is a tangible chill in the air. After months of dry heat, it is finally a bit crisp in the mornings and evenings. The days are warmish, even with sun sitting lower in the sky. For the first time in months I have needed to wear a cardigan on the school run and with that comes the need to pull out the duvets, organize my jumpers and wear sneakers instead of sandals.

Hey there APJ Crew,
This week has been like a roller coaster. Busy, lazy, busy, lazy, busy, lazy. I’ve not been to the pool or gym once and I’m feeling the guilt, and the belly. LOADS of wonderful fragrances, some excellent gigs and time with Jin and a few mates. All in all a merrily chugging along adventure.

One of Jin and my buddies we met through perfume is Tara. Every UK trip we make some Tara time, she came to our wedding here in Sydney and has popped over to meet us a couple of times on continental Europe too. Lately I’ve also been guest posting on her blog A Bottled Rose.

Hey there APJ Crew,
This week has been infinitely quieter. Thank everything. I really needed some chill time. Still managed to get out and about, saw some buddies and spent some quality time with Jin. The good thing about having more time is wearing more fragrance. YAY! Big week of scent.

Megan from our Mood Scent 4 crew is working with Atelier des Ors. She has kindly sent me samples of the new Atelier des Ors Riviera Series to try and get a feel for. They are based on the classic cologne style but given a full rework with the best ingredients and fabulous longevity. Rather than showstoppingly huge they are more moderate projectors, you will be fragrant but not obnoxious. Perfect warm weather or reminders of warm weather. I can imagine them being a perfect winter pick me up. Also, those bottles are swoon worthy all by themselves.

Hey there APJ! How is everyone doing?
Summer is my absolute favorite season. The long bright sunny days full of warmth hitting every pore of my body make my heart pulsate with pure joy. Barefoot feet, leisurely days by the pool side, lazy mornings sleeping in and days where I can decide on a whim or fancy what to do take years of stress and weight off of my shoulders. This is cherished time with my son who enjoys summer as much as or if not more than I do.

Hey there APJ Crew,
HOW did I fit all this into a week? Continuing last weeks theme of Netflix and perfumes. There was a bit of travel, a visit to Chicago the musical, loads of friends, fun and food. It felt like Jin and I really got to see each other quite a lot this week, that’s a win in anyones books. Also, the ankle is improving, YAY!
