Hamlet by Shakespeare Perfume GIVEAWAY

Hi Lovers Of New!

My mate Thierry from City Perfume has an exclusive range in store currently. It’s the Shakespeare Perfume range and it is seeing like hot cakes. Though the brand is not doing outrageous, challenging or ground breaking fragrances it is making wearable and comfortable scents just a cut above the designer and much of the niche. They have also kept the price under $200 for 100ml, practically a bargain nowadays.

The packaging and bottle design is luxurious and really beautifully thought out. These beauties will make perfect gifts, especially for people who love perfume but haven’t dived right down the rabbit hole yet.

Hamlet by Shakespeare Perfume

hamletCity Perfume

City Perfume gives these featured accords:
Top: Bergamot, lemon, lime
Heart: Jasmine, rose, ylang-ylang, fig
Base: Agarwood (oud), birch, cinnamon, oakmoss, patchouli, saffron, sandalwood, ambergris, civet, musk, orris root

Hamlet opens with a zesty lime and oudh with a very pretty spicy rose. The oudh is that scratchy, synth, woody oudh that blends so nicely with pepper, saffron, patchouli and birch.

Fairly linear and I can imagine this being the scent of a gym locker room in the late 20teens. While Hamlet may not be a fully new scent, this style is in almost every niche range currently, I think it’s a very nice example of it. Towards dry down it smooths out considerably to a warm, resinous, woods.

The oudh/rose/saffron combo is what I smell the most at the NSW art gallery nowadays, even in summer. I think the artistic people are also attracted by it and for them the bottle and packaging of Hamlet will also be a winner.

City Perfume has $189/100ml
Don’t forget the 10% Discount Code in the side column.

  1. Hello Portia! Hamlet would be perfect when I drive city to country or vice versa. The woodsiness would surround me as I enter or leave the Wombat State Forest. Follow APJ by email.

  6. I feel a bit ashamed that I’m entering the draw but I like the notes of this one. If I won I’d love to wear it when I go to the seaside. Not every perfume can stand salty winds but maybe this Hamlet could? After all, he’s weathered some huge storms.

I follow via email and FB. Thank you for another intriguing draw!

  8. Given the name of the perfume, it would be most appropriate to wear it to a theater or broadway performance in NY, possibly, a performance of Shakespeare’s play. I follow APJ by email and FB.
