It’s a LIE! The perfume that is called Miss Dior today has nothing to do with the perfume created in 1947! At best, it was created in 2005 – the year of Miss Dior Cherie launch – but it is not true even to that perfume after being “repatriated”. It’s repulsive that Dior shamelessly rewrites the history. And I’ve met already a couple of people who were sure they were smelling “Miss Dior”.

Yes, it is a lie, an untruth and a fragrant falsehood Undina. It may be true that it was how the original Miss Dior came into being but I think we have not smelled that formula since the 1980s or even before.
The mini movie is lovely though, regardless of their naughty machinations that have sent the scent world into a frenzy.

The movie is nice, I agree.
Many perfumes were reformulated, we all know that. But reformulation and just a name swap are still a completely different animals. That makes me even angrier 😦 Oh well… “Money make the World go round…”
