  1. I’ve only ever tried one of Vero’s fragrances: Mito EDP. I liked it a lot, but I’ve no idea where my decant has got to. I will have to hunt it out and wear it in her memory.

  2. Rest in peace dear Vero.
You sure are lucky to have known her Portia.
I’ve only tried the EdP’s from her line and I give my vote to Rubj, which is strangely different from all that I usually like but it feels so comfortable and cozy. I’ll drain my sample vial in honour of Vero today.

    • Very lucky Neva, though we were only acquaintances. Her real deal bestie was Val the Cookie Queen. They were nuts for each other and would travel the Perfume Exhibitions together.
The EdPs are extraordinary, you don’t need to try the rest BUT if you see them, definitely do.

    what a loving tribute
I have tried only one of Vero’s perfumes a few years ago and cannot remember which one or which iteration. Now I wish I had tried them all.

  4. Such sad news both personally and professionally. Her perfumes are so unique, I have a special bottle of Kiki and will bring it out tomorrow.

  5. What a creative wonder Vero was. You know how much I love her work–oh that Rozy voile–and I’m beyond grateful to Val for her introduction to it. And I love that Vero herself was as fabulous and complex as her fragrances.

Peace to those who loved her.

  6. A huge loss to the fragrance world. Rest In Peace Vero Kern.
I love Rozy best, in all forms, absolutely gorgeous. I read and interview with her awhile ago and was very impressed with her. Complex and creative, as are her perfumes.

  7. I wore Rubj extrait yesterday in her honour, today I will join you in Kiki extrait. I have the first three scents all in extrait: Onda, Rubj and Kiki, and yesterday I ordered Rozy extrait. Ten years ago I had the good fortune to meet Vero in Paris, she was warm, vivacious and friendly. I loved her style and her uncompromising commitment to her vision for her perfumes. She will be missed.

  8. I adored her. I don’t need to choose, as I have everything. Except Onda EdP, which nearly killed me. She knew that – hahahahaha. But had a bottle for me. I guess I will never get it now. My two huge loves are Rubj EdP and Rozy EdP. 💞

  9. Oh my goodness … only this morning I was searching (without success) for both my Mitos which must be somewhere in the chaos that the house move has left us in. It must have been a premonition. Sad news.

  10. Oh sad – I loved Mito so much and was planning to try Rubj – I have a decant of Rozy and like it as well, although so far Mito is my absolute favorite. Kiki just didn’t work on me.

I loved her style, her aesthetic, and her complex and elegant fragrances. I will go upstairs and spritz some Mito, and think of how she makes me happy every time I wear it.

  11. Sad on her passing. Unfortunately, I have not tried a Vero yet though I have come close to buying them. Will def. get atleast one of her creations in the future.

  12. I have only had samples of Vero’s perfumes. Mito in voile d’extrait so far is my favorite, but I haven’t had a sample of Rozy in voile formulation or Naja.

Hopefully someone will continue the production of these special pert.
