Hey there APJ Crew,
Another week of roller coasting. Thank everything for fragrance, it has buoyed me at times week when all seemed lost. Friends and commenters on APJ too, you all know who you are. Thank you for being the wind in my sails this week.
BTW Some of you were wondering about Greg’s mega sale. His stuff is up on Fragrance Buy, Swap & Sell Australia. Australia only postage though. Yes, I might have purchased.

Hello Fellow Fumies,
At APJ we have a Saturday Question. Everyone gets to chime in with an answer, chat with other responders and it’s a fun event each week. Taking sides never means taking offence and everyone keeps it respectful and light, even though we can sometimes trawl the depths.
The idea is you’ll see it on the weekend or chime in through the week. Hopefully you will come back regularly and see if anyone has responded to your comment and you can reply to them. The aim is to generate real conversation and connection even though we are scattered around the globe.

Welcome APJ family to the end of February. Already!
This post is about a strange phenomenon generally associated with pregnancy. It is called pica and refers to a desire to eat, or drink, things that are not traditonal food items. I think, in my case, it is tied to my nutritional deficiencies.
Three beautiful and well loved scents that give me pica symptoms. Blue Lotus, Jardins de Bagatelle and Mon Guerlain.

Hey there APJ Crew,
What a week. Another roller coaster ride. Some of the troughs were especially deep. My life has been altered and edited heavily with the loss of two of the most important women in it. This is going to take some healing time.
In brighter news my fragrance wearing week was a really good one.

WHAT A ROLLERCOASTER! This week has been a series of highs and lows with no warning of change.
Still, through the peaks and troughs I managed to get some sensational fragrances on, hang with mates and have a lot of fun.
Jin, as always, was one of the highlights and I got some couch cuddle time with the dogs.

The above was in answer to a comment I made on Portia´s recent Saturday Question: Perfume Buying Rules. I have a fairly small collection both for a perfumista and a blogger. And I have spent some time gathering my thoughts as to why that is so. After all, I am an absolute perfume junkie.

It must be so boring for you Northerners to read about our heat but I’m getting my ass kicked by it. Utterly enervated.
Still, managed to get out a bit and do some stuff. Nothing enormous, quite a lot of jin and Portia laying around in the cool air time.

Hey there APJ Crew,
So many wonderful fragrances this week. Celebrating Guerlain Mitsouko’s 100 year anniversary. Being friends, eating wonderful food, even got a little bit of exercising in.
Honestly, the heat has me beat gang. I’m trying to stay positive and focussed but it’s been draining my will to live. It’s not that I dislike the heat per se, it robs me of my ability to think.

Heya Guerlain Lovers,
There’s been a lot of thunking talk around here and I have been rediscovering decants of things I bought bottles of, put away for safe keeping or just put aside and completely forgot about. Here’s a very embarrassing admission, I have an old Surrender To Chance 5ml decant of Guerlain Nuit d’Amour, the spritzer is a bit dicky so I only used it the once.
