Hey there APJ Crew,
The new year is here. Amusingly my week felt less hectic than normal, it wasn’t. Loads of scent, peeps, outings and Jin time made it a perfect storm.

Hey Hey Perfume Junkies,
OK I’m adding a THUNKED section here too. It’s becoming an APJ obsession and I love the idea of us using our fragrances and hoiking the vial, decant or bottle. Thunk is the sound of an empty hitting the bin so you must empty it for the thunk to count.
Anything worthy of comment, either good or bad, that’s passed under my nose through the week will get a short write up. If I think something is terrible, shamefully lazy, greedy or stupid and you should know about it, it will be said. As always YMMV.
I’d love it if you get involved: agree, respectfully disagree, have any thought-out opinion and want to share, do so in the comments below. The point is starting a conversation.

A SOTD (Scent Of The Day) thread is a really good conversation generator. The idea is you’ll chime in through the week with whatever scent you are wearing. You don’t need to be super knowledgable, have high faluting tastes or be a published author to comment. Just tell us what fragrance you’re wearing, smelling, buying etc. and how it makes you feel and/or anything else about it that tickles your fancy.

Hey there APJ Crew,
Holy Hectic this week has been a lot. Sweaty humid hot weather then ferocious downpours. Hot/Cold/Hot/Cold it’s driving me a little more bonkers. Loads going on too. Fragrance, friends, work, food, art, fun and SHOPPING have been the order of the week. Managed some quiet Jin time in there too.

My mate Ainslie Walker has started working for the Glasshouse group who are an Australian Candle, Fragrance and Cleanliness crew. They happen to have a luxury line called Circa Home. From the thick waxy cardboard, brightly coloured modern art exterior to the vessels and fragrances themselves they feel and smell like luxurious homewares should.
