This week on Facebook Fragrance Friends was Indie Week. Now I wasn’t so religious with it as last weeks Guerlain Week but I did manage to get some of my favourite Independent Perfume Houses on my skin and up my nose.
Otherwise the week was pretty low-key. Home, work, trivia Q&A and a couple of social engagements.

Busy week of friends and fun. Fragrance wise I’ve been celebrating with Facebook Fragrance Friends Guerlain Week. What a fun idea to wear my favourites and get out a bunch of them that have lain ignored and unloved for a while. What a happy reminder of the charm and depth of history of this house.

Hey there APJ Crew,
Wonderful week of fragrance. Everything else was pretty low key. Didn’t get to pool or gym this week and ate less than perfectly. Saw some buddies, hung with Jin and did a bunch of work so my life felt happily rounded without being hectic.

This Kickstarter will crowdfund the development and production of a perfume that smells how Sunday feels: a soft, cozy fragrance that captures the quiet bliss of an extra snooze cycle nestled in warm sheets.
“The Scent of Sunday” Kickstarter campaign will run from April 11, 2019 – May 11, 2019. Arielle Shoshana Sunday is expected to launch in October 2019.

GAK! This week has been a bit of a write off. Sick and bad tooth.
Did see some mates, wear a bunch of fabulous perfume and do some stuff but it mostly went by in a blur of drugs and wishing to be in my Couch Cocoon. Jin got better and then worse, poor bugger.

What a sensational week. Perfume, people, life and living. Got to spend time with so many of the people that are important to me. One HUGE thank you to my buddy Scotty, his home made sausage rolls were the hit of our SNIFFY on Saturday and made the whole event something really special. I can’t help smiling at how lovely my week has been.

This week has been big. Even in the depths of despair we are often asked to rise up and be the best we can for an occasion. Sometimes the very act of becoming ready to do something is enough to shore up failing resolve, broken hearts and loss.
