WOW! Excellent Birthday Week. Saw so many wonderful people that I adore. Wore a bunch of fragrance, ate, adventured, laughed and did so much. It looks like a complete frenzy but actually it all felt kinda chill. HOW did I eat so much food?

The kids are still with us. It’s kind of nice having them around the house. They basically take care of themselves at 16 & 20. Jin is loving being an Uncle and I quite like hearing their chatter, even though quite a lot of it is in Korean and Slovakian. If we had kids we would need more room though, not that we want kids, that’s definitely 100% off the table.

The weather in Sydney this winter is absolutely glorious. Not so good for our drought but wonderful for living, travelling and hanging out with mates. Good news is that my sniffer is getting back into working order, PHEW! Loads of fun fragrances to celebrate.

This weird thing has happened to me since going on our honeymoon holidays. I’ve started to enjoy a drink. Nothing excessive but it has become quite regular. Normally I’d be lucky to have an alcoholic drink a month. What fresh hell is this?
In other news, we had a quiet, homey week and I got to wear some amazing scents.

Hey there APJ Crew,
It’s a bit chilly around these parts. This week marks 50 years since the Stonewall Riots in NYC, the beginning of the Gay Rights Movement. So I wore fragrances to match the colours of the rainbow flag for the first six days and something very special on the seventh. Loads of catch ups, people, fun and food as well.

HOME! It’s been a busy week of getting the businesses back in order and welcoming Jin home. LOADS of gigs too. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday. Woo Hoo! It’s also been excellent to be back amongst my fragrance collection, love the overwhelming choice. Really feels like home.

This week on Facebook Fragrance Friends was Indie Week. Now I wasn’t so religious with it as last weeks Guerlain Week but I did manage to get some of my favourite Independent Perfume Houses on my skin and up my nose.
Otherwise the week was pretty low-key. Home, work, trivia Q&A and a couple of social engagements.

Wonderful week of fragrance. Everything else was pretty low key. Didn’t get to pool or gym this week and ate less than perfectly. Saw some buddies, hung with Jin and did a bunch of work so my life felt happily rounded without being hectic.

GAK! This week has been a bit of a write off. Sick and bad tooth.
Did see some mates, wear a bunch of fabulous perfume and do some stuff but it mostly went by in a blur of drugs and wishing to be in my Couch Cocoon. Jin got better and then worse, poor bugger.

So many wonderful fragrances this week. Celebrating Guerlain Mitsouko’s 100 year anniversary. Being friends, eating wonderful food, even got a little bit of exercising in.
Honestly, the heat has me beat gang. I’m trying to stay positive and focussed but it’s been draining my will to live. It’s not that I dislike the heat per se, it robs me of my ability to think.
